Purchased this last week for an upcoming trip to Europe for use as an added measure of safety in the hotel rooms we are staying in. Received quite fast working with Amazon Prime.
Tested this transportable lock in my dwelling with 2 completely different doors and works wonders! With this lock on, it will make it incredibly challenging for an intruder to come in to your space. Though the red piece is plastic it is reinforced with a metal plate underneath it which tends to make it genuinely solid! This tends to make the whole transportable lock made of metal! As soon as installed, it was difficult for me to go in the residence. I think that I would have to kick the door in to jar this portable lock loose.
Awesome added measure of safety! I will sleep improved recognizing that even if an intruder manage to choose the locks of my hotel room, they would have to kick the door in to open it with this transportable lock in location!
