If you're looking to add a little protection to your house or apt, this might possibly be what you are looking for.
Initially off, it is got some good characteristics. The dialing of numbers functions properly, and there is a panel you can eliminate that offers access to some terminals that permit you to add other inputs and an external siren. Also, the siren inside is a lot loud in my opinion.
The longest delay you can set prior to the system triggers is 20 seconds. So if this is not mounted right close to your door, you fairly much have to go straight to it and disarm it. The delay just after arming it is a solid 60 seconds.
My largest situation with it was that it is all one particular piece, simply because the finest location to put a motion sensor is high up in a corner, and the top location to put the manage box is someplace hidden near your door (and close to a phone outlet). I truly hacked apart the device and extended the wires connecting the two pieces so I could mount the motion sensor farther from the control box. This arrangement is operating out nicely. The battery backup operates fine, and I also extended the power cord to the control box.
The motion sensor itself picks up movement quite nicely and does not pick up movement outside glass windows, precisely what you'd want.

This little gem is priceless! We had doubts of it's dependability and despite the fact that we've only had it installed for a couple of weeks it has already worked well....a small as well well. The unit is placed in a remote location and dials our dwelling. A single late night the phone rang and the alram sounded - rushed to the sight with gun and clubs in hand only to get that a very big spider triggered it. Whew, a tiny bug spray later we are very pleased with this unit.
